My one battle was with an Elem/Me. The only spells that got cast were Backfire and Ice Spear.

I didn't time it, but it probably was 8-10 seconds. (Backfire plus 4-5 Ice Spears cast by him through his Backfire, plus my wanding in the meantime.)

Wait -- how much cooldown is there between 1-second spells? Maybe it took a little longer.

Doppleganger must be the easiest boss ever. Ther first time i fought him, with my W/R, i beat him in 7 secs, plus my bro was annoying me..

I ascended a little while ago (my first time ever, woot!)... Beat my dopple in 13 seconds. Brought along Meteor Shower, Firestorm, and Flare.

Dopple's Moves:
Firestorm -> Meteor Shower -> Flare -> Bow

My Moves:
Meteor Shower -> Quick Strafe -> Firestorm -> Quick Strafe -> Flare Spam

My Shower interrupted the casting of his Shower and his Flare... It was an easy kill once I had him on the run

8 seconds I think. That was the first time I ever did it though, and there was no AoE escape.

And 2 seconds isn't possible, no. Saccing skills take time to cast, and the Doppleganger has a lot of HP, and it has low priority on sac skills. I at one time had nothing but sac skills and... something else, can't remember what in my skillbar and it would only use them if its HP dropped below 20% and I was adjacent. But anyway, 2 seconds is a lie. There's no skillbar in the world that will even let you sac 75% of your HP in 2 seconds if your HP is that high.

Yea, backfire takes 3 seconds to cast. However if fast casting was on 16 it would take 1.43 seconds to cast (from guildwiki.org), but i still think its bullshit.

Really, thats possible? Because last time I checked 3+2=5

Again with fast casting on 16 that would only be 2.39 seconds... but that is only the time it would take you to cast it. I dont see how he could kill himself in .61 seconds even if there were sac skills. Not as if you would waste all of those skill points in fast casting anyways.

Again with fast casting on 16 that would only be 2.39 seconds... but that is only the time it would take you to cast it. I dont see how he could kill himself in .61 seconds even if there were sac skills. Not as if you would waste all of those skill points in fast casting anyways.

Yep, i think so. It's just like saying that you got at lvl 2 to dragons lair.

As far as i remember i've been having great success kiling my doppleganger
in under 6/7/8 seconds with all my characters but by far the easiest was
similar to the situation above.

Pretty easy after you been there a few times over 8 characters...

i cast Illusion of weakness before i went in.
i cast Illusionary weaponary as soon as i got in .
he cast illusion of weakness and lost 215 instantly.
IW took care of rest!

About 15 secs with necro

and 3 TRIES with warrior.(lol)

Something like 12 seconds or so, mo/w. Frenzy, Balths Aura, and...I think that was about it. Lots of open skill slots.

Edit: Upon further consideration, I think I had Zealot's Fire, and a couple pointless spammables (mend ailment and rof, perhaps).
